How long will a JKD student last in class if he does not imitate what is taught or if he constantly questions the instructor’s methods. After all, is not this Lee’s definition being an “independent” student?

How often are we told by different "sensei" of "masters" that the martial arts are life itself However, how many of them truly understand what they are saying?
