Kiyup. Organizations have different places in the pattern at which a kiyup is required. Insert a kiyup at places where your organization requires one to be used.

Ready Stance: Step left foot toward West into parallel ready stance with double low fists.

  1. Turn 90° left toward West, moving left foot into left front stance, with a low left forearm block.
  2. Step right foot toward West into right front stance, with a right middle punch.
  3. Turn 180° right toward East, moving right foot into right front stance, with a low right forearm block.
  4. Step left foot toward East into left front stance, with a left middle punch.
  5. Turn 90° left toward North, moving left foot into left front stance, with a low left forearm block.
  6. Step right foot toward North into right front stance, with a right middle punch.
  7. Turn 180° right toward South, moving right foot into right front stance, with a low right forearm block.
  8. Step left foot toward South into left front stance, with a left middle punch.
  9. Turn 90° left toward East, moving left foot into left back stance, with a middle left inner-forearm block.
  10. Step right foot toward East into right front stance, with a right middle punch.
  11. Turn 180° right toward West, moving right foot into right back stance, with a  middle right inner-forearm block.
  12. Step left foot toward West into left front stance, with a left middle punch.
  13. Turn 90° left toward South, moving left foot into left back stance, with a middle left inner-forearm block.
  14. Step right foot toward South into right front stance, with a right middle punch.
